DATA SAVE AND READ
This chapter covers how to save data to the internal memory or external (USB flash)
memory.
6.1
Data Saving
The display unit has temporary memory that records data such as tracks, mark,
routes, etc. The data may be erased if the temporary memory overflows. For this rea-
son, important data should be recorded to either an external USB flash memory or to
the internal memory. Data can be loaded and saved between both mediums.
6.2
Internal Preserved Memory
There is an internal memory to save the current data. The data are saved and read
between the temporary memory and the preserved memory.
6.2.1
How to save the data to internal memory
The data in current memory can be saved to the internal memory. Ten block recording
areas are prepared in the internal memory. Each block has a capacity for own ship’s
track (30,000 pts), other ship’s track (40,000 pts), mark/line (30,000 pts), waypoints
(3,500 pts) and routes (200 pts).
