6. Rotate the scrollwheel to select the value for ship’s speed.
7. Select the waypoint you want to calculate the TTG for.
The ETA and TTG to the selected waypoint appear at the right side of the window.
8. Close the menu.
5.4.6 How to show the waypoint name
The waypoint name is indicated by following method.
1. Press the CURSOR ON/OFF key when the cursor is not shown.
2. Put the cursor on a waypoint to show the name.
The latitude, longitude and comments for the waypoint appear.
Note: When the cursor is overwritten on the waypoint mark and the information
does not appear, set [WPT CURSOR INFORMATION] to [ON] in the [WAYPOINT
SETTINGS] of the [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS] menu.
5.4.7 How to select the waypoint mark size
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button .
3. Select [WAYPOINTS MARK], then press the left button .
4. Select [LARGE], [SMALL] or [OFF], then press the left button .
5. Close the menu.
5.4.8 How to display an external waypoint
A waypoint sent from a GPS navigator can be shown as an external waypoint on the
radar display. The external waypoint can set as a destination also.
Note: The WPL or RTE sentence required.
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTE/WAYPOINT], then press the
left button .
3. Select [ROUTE SELECT], then press the left button .
4. Select [OUT], then press left button .
If [IN] is selected, the external waypoints are not shown. The color and shape of
the external waypoints are indicated in the mark box.
• Name: shows external waypoint name with the prefix ”<<”.
• Shape: shows the shape selected in the [EDIT WAYPOINT NAME] window.
5. Close the menu.
