4.4 How to Set the AIS Target Symbol
You can select AIS target color and brilliance as you desire.
How to set the color of AIS target mark
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [OTHER SHIPS’ INFO.], then press the
left button .
3. Select [AIS], then press the left button .
4. Select the mark color, then press the left button .
5. Close the menu.
How to set the brilliance of AIS target mark
1. Press the CURSOR ON/OFF key, if the cursor is not shown.
2. Move the cursor onto the [BRILL] box, then press the right button .
3. Select [NEXT], then press the left button .
4. Select [TARGET], then press the left button .
5. Rotate the scrollwheel to adjust the brilliance, then press the left button .
6. Close the menu.
4.5 AIS Target Data
You can display an AIS target’s data by selecting it on the display.
4.5.1 How to display target data in the data display area
Place the cursor on a desired AIS target and press the left button . The target is high-
lighted with a square box and the selected AIS target’s data is shown in AIS target data
box in the data display area, at bottom of the screen.
Maximum four AIS target data are shown at bottom on the screen.
Note 1: You can hide an active target to specify as a moored target.
• Move the cursor onto a active target symbol, then press the CANCEL key.
• Move the cursor onto a column on the list, then press the CANSEL key.
Note 2: You can hide an active target temporary by pressing the left button on the
target data list. While the target is hidden, [DESTINATION DATA] box appears at bot-
tom on the screen. Move the cursor onto the box and press
left button to release the
target.
Note 3: If the target data list is shown while the zoom function is activated, the zoom
cursor is hidden. To show the zoom cursor, close the target data list.
