2. Move the cursor onto the origin mark to delete.
A frame appears on the origin mark.
3. Press the CANCEL key.
The origin mark disappears and mark box indication changes to “NO DATA”.
5.4 Waypoint
A particular location is known as a “waypoint”, whether it be a starting point, a desti-
nation point or an intermediate point on a voyage. This radar system can store 100
waypoints. Waypoints 1 to 98 are user set waypoints, waypoint 99 is reserved for ex-
ternal input, waypoint 100 is reserved for MOB (Man Over Board). Waypoints can be
entered with the cursor, or from the menu (manual input of latitude and longitude).
Waypoints 1 to 98 can be edited from the menu.
5.4.1 How to enter waypoints
There are seven method to enter waypoints.
1) Enter a waypoint at the current own ship’s location.
2) Enter a waypoint at the cursor location.
3) Enter a waypoint at the location specified lat/lon.
4) Enter a waypoint at the location specified bearing and distance.
5) Enter a waypoint from Loran-C time deviation.
6) Enter a waypoint from Loran-A time deviation.
7) Enter a waypoint from Decca phase difference.
Note 1: This function is only available if [ROUTE SELECT] is set to [IN] in the
[ROUTE/WAYPOINT] menu.
Note 2: These plotted waypoints are hidden when [ROUTE SELECT] is set to [OUT]
in the [ROUTE/WAYPOINT] menu.
Enter waypoint at own ship’s location
1. Press the CURSOR ON/OFF key when the cursor is not shown.
2. Place the cursor onto the MOB box, then press the left click .
The MOB mark ( ) is entered at the current own ship’s location. The information
for the MOB mark (latitude, longitude and time entered) is saved to the waypoints
list and the name "MOB" is assigned automatically.
3. Select [RUN] and press the left button to enter the waypoint.
When the cursor is not shown on the screen, pressing the WPT key enters a way-
point at the own ship location. For further information see the next section "How
to enter waypoints with the cursor".

1. Press the CURSOR ON/OFF key when the cursor is not shown.
