10. Select [MARK COLOR], then press the left button .
Rotete the scrollwheel to select a color.
11. Select [MARK SHAPE], then press the left button .
Rotete the scrollwheel to select a mark shape.
12. Select [INT. BAN], then press the left button .
The intrusion ban can be set by rotating the scrollwheel .
Note: The intrusion ban should be set as a alert genaration area by specified
range. If the range is set to other than 0.00 NM, the waypoint mark is set to the
circle with a oblique line. To set the alert, refer to paragraph 5.7.1.
13. Select [COMMENT], then press the left button .
Enter the comment with the scrollwheel and trackball on the comment box, then
select [RUN] and press the
left button .
14. Close the menu.
How to enter waypoint by bearing and distance
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button .
3. Select [WAYPOINTS LIST], then press the left button .
4. Press the WPT key to open the [EDIT WAYPOINT NAME] window.
5. Select [COORDINATE], then press the left button .
6. Select [RNG./BRG.], then press the left button .
7. Select [DISTANCE], then press the left button .
8. Rotate the scrollwheel to set the distance between own ship and the waypoint.
9. Select [BEARING], then press the left button .
10. Rotate the scrollwheel to set the bearing from own ship to the waypoint.
11. Select the color, shape, display, intrusion ban and comment as required.
12. Press the
right button to close the menu.
How to enter waypoint by Loran time offset
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
