How to set the ship’s speed to calculate the arriving time
The time to go (TTG) to a waypoint calculated based on ship speed and requires
speed data input. You can set the speed automatically or manually.
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button
.
3. Select [ROUTES LIST], then press the
left button
.
4. Select [SPD FOR TTG CALC], then press the
left button
.
5. Select [T.SHIP SPEED] to use the same data as used to calculate SOG, or [ENT
VALUE] to manually input the ship speed. If you selected [T. SHIP SPEED], go to
step 7.
6. Rotate the
scrollwheel
to select the value for ship’s speed.
7. Select the route you want to calculate the TTG for.
The ETA and TTG to the selected route appear at the right side of the window.
8. Close the menu.

How to create an external route
A route sent from a GPS navigator can be shown as an external route on the radar
display. The external route can set as a destination also.
Note:
The RTE sentence required.
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTE/WAYPOINT], then press the
left button
.
3. Select [ROUTE SELECT], then press the
left button
.
4. Select [OUT], then press the
left button
.
The external route is shown. If [IN] is selected, the external routes is hidden.
5. Close the menu.

Destination Points
In navigation terminology, a destination point is a particular geographical location on
a voyage whether it be a starting, intermediate or destination point. By setting a way-
point, information to get you to the waypoint with the shortest distance and time can
be displayed.
5.6.1
Setting a quick point
Quick point is a temporarily set waypoint. There are quick point and quick route func-
tions. Quick point ant quick route will remain after turning on/off the equipment, but
older point and route will be deleted by inputting the new one.
How to select the setting method of quick points
There are two methods for setting a quick point, [ONE POINT] or [100 POINTS].
1. Press the
MENU
key to open the [MAIN MENU].
