Other (Options and Other Devices)

This section describes optional products.

2.15.1

UPS

A UPS contains a battery, and it provides power to the system even in the event of a
power abnormality such as a power outage.

The main unit provides a power failure notification pin for receiving a power failure
notification from a UPS. Two power failure pins are mounted corresponding to dual
power feed (option).

In primary power feed, a UPS is connected to the CPCB UPC0 connector of the main
unit. In dual power feed, one UPS is connected to CPCB UPC0 connector of the main
unit and another UPS is connected to CPCB UPC1 connector of the main unit.

The UPS connected to the UPC0 connector must be connected with an AC cable to
the ACS of the PRIMEQUEST main unit. The UPS connected to the UPC1
connector must be connected with an AC cable to the ACS of the expansion power
cabinet. The UPS connected to the UPC0 connector is UPS #0. The UPS connected
to the UPC1 connector is UPS #1.
