PCI segment mode and PCI bus mode

PRIMEQUEST supports two PCI bus mapping modes:  PCI segment mode and PCI 
bus mode.

PCI segment mode

 

All PCIU interfaces of each IO_Unit can be used.

z

PCI bus mode

 

Of the PCIU interfaces of each IO_Unit, only PCI Slot#0 and PCI Slot#1 can be 
used.

The mapping mode can be defined for each partition.

Table 2.11 lists the PCI bus mapping modes supported by each operating system.
