2.1 Cabinet

2.1

Cabinet

The main unit of the cabinet contains system boards (SB), IO_Units, and other 
components.

The cabinet also contains the management board (MMB) (dedicated unit for server 
management) for controlling and monitoring components in the cabinet.  The MMB 
can be operated through a Web interface from a general-purpose personal computer.

The gigabit switch board (GSWB), which is a switching hub compatible with Gigabit 
Ethernet is an optional product that can be mounted in the cabinet.

Figure 2.3

 shows the appearance of the cabinet with its front and rear covers removed 

(example of the full package of the PRIMEQUEST 480).
