4.2.7

MMB use environment setting

This function sets and changes the MMB use environments.

• Centralized system account

The MMB and GSWB support interfaces such as Telnet and Web-UI and their system 
accounts are managed centrally by the MMB.  The MMB also performs GSWB user 
authentication.  For centralized management, the Lightweight Directory Access 
Protocol (LDAP) is used.  Because the MMB adopts a redundant configuration, MMB 
#0 is used as the master LDAP server and MMB #1 is used as the backup server.

 shows how system accounts are managed.

Making and changing the network environment settings 

 

In this kind of operation, the MMB usage environments for the HTTP and Telnet is 
set.  The network environments of a business LAN is set up and changed from the 
Switch item in the Navigation Bar on the setup and modification screen.
