16-bit MPG Output Data Register (Upper/Lower)
(OPDUR/OPDLR)
The 16-bit MPG output data register (upper/lower) (OPDUR/OPDLR) are two
8-bit registers storing the output data sent to the OPT5 to OPT0 pins. OPDUR is
the upper byte register and OPDLR the lower byte register.
The 16-bit MPG output data register (upper) (OPDUR) and the 16-bit MPG output data register
(lower) (OPDLR) are two 8-bit registers used to read the 16-bit MPG output data register
value.
Always use one of the following methods to access these registers.
•
Use the "MOVW" instruction (use a 16-bit access instruction to read the OPDUR register
address).
•
Use the "MOV" instruction to read OPDUR first and then OPDLR (OPDLR will be
updated when OPDUR is read).
