4. SAFETY DEVICES
Shearing prevention system: realized by means of micro switches and safety circuit in
conformity with the European Standard; it is activated when the door is opened and/or
when removing the dispensing outlet door and it brings the machine to a temporary STOP,
the led STOP and DELIVERY will flash and the buzzer will released an intermittent “BEEP”
every 10 “.
Do not use this device to stop the machine during batch freezing cycle, but always use the
STOP function instead.
Motor reliability of service: realized by means of temperature relays to protect motors
against overloads. The machine will change over in STOP position, the STOP and
PRODUCTION led will flash and the buzzer will released an intermittent “BEEP”.
In any case the machine carries out a series of tests during production:
Production control system
Carried out by the microprocessor through a current transformer. It controls the agitator
motor watt.
Security timer with control of lack of growth in consistency
It operates 16 minutes after the beginning of batch freezing in case the consistency
minimum value set up by the manufacturer is not reached.
The machine will change over in STOP position, the STOP and PRODUCTION led will
flash and the buzzer will released an intermittent “BEEP”.
By changing the parameter on step P7 (see electronic card programming on page 20) the
security timer operates after 35 minutes and the consistency growing is deactivated. In this
case check the presence of troubles in the refrigerant circuit and/or check the proportion of
the batch.
Logic unit self-reset in case of lack of power supply
It stops the machine allowing the manual reset of the functions.
Logic unit self-diagnosis (watch-dog)
The microprocessor controls possible internal troubles and stops the card in case of
failure.
