You can do the following:

Make certain that the module
is installed properly. For more

NetIron MLX-4 Modules” on
page 3-7, “Installing NetIron

15, “Installing NetIron MLX-16
Modules” on page 3-23, or
“Installing NetIron MLX-32
Modules” on page 3-33.
•
The module may not be
receiving enough power.
Foundry recommends
installing power supplies in a
fully redundant configuration
as described in “Installing
Power Supplies in a NetIron
MLX-4 Chassis” on page 3-9,
“Installing Power Supplies in
the NetIron MLX-8 Chassis”
on page 3-17, “Installing
Power Supplies in a NetIron
MLX-16 Chassis” on page 3-
25, or “Installing Power
Supplies in a NetIron MLX-32
Chassis” on page 3-45.
•
Check the Pwr LED on the
management module. If it is
on, this module may be
holding the power from the
interface module.
•
Enter the
show chassis
command at any level of the
CLI to determine if the
management module
recognizes the presence of all
power sources.
•

power supply LED in this table
for more information.
