Public mode (power OFF) is an automatic answering service used to ensure manner in
public places. Set Public mode (power OFF) to play a message for the caller indicating that
the power is off and you are unable to speak (in a hospital, airplane, train near the priority
seats), and the call ends.

When Public mode (power OFF) is set

Public mode (power OFF) remains set until disabled. Setting is not canceled when power is turned ON.
The Public mode (power OFF) message is played when the handset is outside the service area or
in a place with no signal.
When a call is received, a message indicating that the owner of the phone is in a place that does not
allow mobile phone use is played and the call is disconnected. When PushTalk is received, members
are notified that the owner of the phone is not a participant in the call without answering the call.
