with the mounting kits in the threaded holes of the mounting surface. If
necessary, move the Y-axis (cross-brace). Loosely fasten the socket head screws of the mounting
kits.

9. Slide the Y-axis (cross-brace) back and forth over the entire stroke of the X-axes.
10. Align the profiles of the X-axes so the socket head screws of the mounting kits are as close as
possible to the middle of the slot.
11. Tighten the socket head screws of all mounting kits with a reduced tightening torque of
10 … 20 Nm.
The socket head screws are loosened and tightened again during alignment. The tightening
torque is then 24 Nm.
12. Remove the 2 transportation locks on the end caps and drive covers.
13. Remove the 2 transport plates (with transport lugs) on the X-axes.
Store the transportation locks, transport plates and screws for later demounting of the planar
surface gantry.
For bottom motor attachment position:
–
Mount the coverings and the drive cover with the shorter screws.
Tightening torque EXCH-40: 8.3 Nm; EXCH-60: 10.0 Nm
To mount the covers on the drive cover, replace the longer screws for fastening the transportation
lock with the shorter screws provided.
• EXCH-40: M5x40; EXCH-60: M6x40
15. Remove the remaining labelled transportation attachments of the movable parts.
