Mounting (horizontal mounting position)
7.1.2 Requirements

The transport crate is located at the mounting location è 5 Transport.
–
The transport crate is opened and the transportation screws are removed è 5.1 Unpacking.
–
Movable parts of the planar surface gantry are still fixed with transportation locks (cable binders):
–
Y-axis (cross-brace)
–
Y-axis slide
–
The requirements for the mounting surface are as specified è 6.2 Mounting requirements.
–
The information for the mounting position is observed è 6.3.1 Horizontal mounting position.
–
The threaded holes in the mounting surface are prepared
è
6.5.2 Mounting holes.
NOTICE
If there are temperature differences between the planar surface gantry and the mounting surface:
• Equalise the temperature of the planar surface gantry and the mounting surface.
• Observe the permissible ambient temperature
è 14.2 Operating and storage conditions.
7.1.3 Procedure
Definition of terms: the term "mounting kit" is used for the 2 possible types of mounting: "adjusting
kit" or "mounting plates".
