Mounting (vertical mounting position)

8.2.6

Eliminate warping in the planar surface gantry

Transport and mounting have caused warping in the planar surface gantry.
Warping causes malfunctions and increased wear.
• Relieve warping with the following steps.

X-axis 2 without energy chain

Y-axis (cross-brace)

X-axis carriage

1. On X-axis 2 without energy chain:

Loosen the 8 screws of the 2 guide carriages 1 revolution.

2. Push the Y-axis (cross-brace) up and down through the complete stroke of the X-axes with 2

persons.

3. Unscrew the 8 screws one by one and screw them in again with LOCTITE 243 screw locking

compound and tighten. Tightening torque 5.9 Nm

Ensure tension-free alignment of the axes by unscrewing only one screw at a time.

Alignment of the planar surface gantry is completed.
Next step: adjust toothed belt pretensioning
