Safety
WARNING
If the mounting material is unsuitable, the planar surface gantry mounting will come loose during
mounting or in operation.
Danger of serious injuries.
• Use mounting components and mounting surface with sufficient strength.
• Observe the weight of the planar surface gantry.
WARNING
Danger of crushing when handling due to the weight or tilting of the planar surface gantry.
The planar surface gantry has an asymmetrical centre of gravity.
For stabilisation and to avoid distortion, two transportation locks are attached to the X-axes.
• Use only the transport lugs for transport.
• Attach a lifting device to the 2 transport lugs of the transportation lock at the drive covers of the
motor side.
• No person is permitted to stand under the planar surface gantry during transport with lifting gear.
• Observe the weight of the planar surface gantry depending on the size and accessories.
• Observe the variable weight distribution.
• Do not remove the transportation locks on the X-axes until the planar surface gantry has been
mounted on the mounting surface.
WARNING
Risk of crushing by uncontrolled movements of the Y-axis (cross-brace).
• Make sure that the cross-brace is at the end position with the end covers (opposite the motor side)
and is locked with the transportation locks to prevent uncontrolled movement.
NOTICE
Recommendation for mounting:
• Use adjusting kits as mounting kit.
• After the alignment the values of the axis alignment must be within the limits
