Position "MIN" = Idle speed (approx. 750 rpm)

Position "MAX" = Full load speed (approx 2100

rpm), operating position for
driving and work.

Note

The diesel engine with EMR (Electronic Engine
Control) inhibits protective functions for the en-
gine.

Depending on the severity of the detected fault the
engine may continue operation with limitations
(limp home), whereby the warning light will perma-
nently be on.

With flashing warning light the engine is shut
down. If the fault indicators for engine oil pressure,
engine temperature or coolant level, light up as
well, eliminate the fault.

When the fault is eliminated the control light will go
out.

The diagnostic button provides the possibility to
read out existing faults in form of flashing codes.

With the ignition switch in position "I" the control
light lights for about 2 seconds (function check)

permanent light = A fault message is present, the

engine can be started and the
vehicle is still operable with
limitations. Inform the service
department.
