6.49 Oil change in rear planetary

gear

Caution

Drain oil only at operating temperature.

Change the oil in both planetary gears.

For quality and quantity of oil refer to the "table
of fuels and lubricants".

Environment

Catch running out oil and dispose of environ-
mentally.

Fig. 321

Drive the machine, until the drain plug (Fig.
321) is at the lowest point.

Clean the plug and unscrew it.

Drain and catch all oil.

Move the machine so that the inspection plug
(Fig. 322) is in horizontal position.

Fill in oil up to the edge of the bore.

Screw the oil plug back in with a new seal ring.
