Mounting & Connecting Systems
Installing in a Four-Post 19” Rack or Cabinet with Sliding
Rails
The rail kit contains the following parts:
!
Two rail assemblies
!
Two front brackets (short)
!
Two rear brackets (long)
!
One package of ten 10/24 x 0.25” panhead Phillips screws, used to
attach the rail chassis sections to the system.
!
One package of ten 8/32 x 0.38” flathead countersunk Phillips screws
along with a flat, lock and nut for each screw. They are used to attach
the brackets to the rail rack sections.
To mount a Aurorean Virtual Network system in a 19” rack or cabinet, begin
assembly below.
Remove the Chassis Sections from the Rail Assemblies
Perform the following steps for each rail assembly:

Slide the rack section out of the slider section as shown in Figure 9.

Slide the chassis section out of the slider section until it locks, then
press the lock arm on the chassis section to release it from the slider
section.

Pull the chassis section out of the slider section.
4
Repeat steps 1-3 for the second rail assembly.
