When the Welcome window appears, accept all defaults and click
Next to continue.
After the installation sequence completes, a pop-up window appears.

When the dialog box prompts you to reconfigure your APS, click Yes.
An MS DOS screen appears with a Perl script as shown in Figure 9.
Verify the information displayed is accurate or change as required.

Restart the APS.
All Enterasys services are started, the APS reboots and the VNC
remote control session ends.
FTP the New Linux Kernel to the ANG

When the APS is back up, browse to the
\3rd Party Support\
Linux\Kernel
directory and copy the
Linux-2.2-16-2.i386.rpm
file to the
c:\temp
directory.

Bring up a DOS command window. Type:
cd \temp
and press
ENTER

Type:
ftp
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
(where
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
is the IP address
of the trusted interface on the ANG).

Log in as
ftp
, using
ftp
as the password.
