Mounting the ANG/APS-3000/7000

Mounting & Connecting Systems
Location Planning
Place the Aurorean system near the following:
!
Ethernet wall jack, patch panel, or hub with available ports.
!
A grounded wall outlet or uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
Mounting the ANG/APS-3000/7000
Aurorean models ANG/APS-3000/7000 are designed for use in computer
rooms and network equipment closets. They can be:
!
Placed on a tabletop or shelf workspace.
!
Mounted in a relay-style rack using the two right-angle midmount
brackets provided.
!
Installed in a four-post 19” rack or cabinet using the sliding rails kit.
Placing on a Tabletop or Shelf
Place the system on a clean and level work surface. Leave several inches of
clearance at the back of the system to allow easy access to ports and cables,
and also provide adequate heat exhaust from the power supply fans.
Mounting in a Relay-Style Rack
To mount a Aurorean system in a relay rack, perform the following steps:

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, securely attach a bracket at the
midway point of each side panel of the system with two screws as
shown in Figure 7.
