automatically receive updated stock prices,
weather information, etc., and play games
without being connected to the network, by
downloading

You can download software from an i-mode
site and run the software on your FOMA
terminal.

The FOMA terminal can store up to 200
downloaded software applications (Up to 2M
bytes for one software application). The
maximum number of software applications
that can be saved varies depending on the
data size. The number includes partly
downloaded i-

α

ppli.

can set your terminal not to automatically
communicate by using “Network set” in

ppli DX, a message

appears notifying that the i-

ppli uses the

terminal data. When you select “YES”, your
terminal information is sent to the IP
(information service provider) via the internet
and may be disclosed to the third party as a
