Updating software immediately

Check result screen (P.502) “Now update” Select “OK”
when “Start download Notice” is displayed

Downloading starts immediately.
Download starts after a while, even if you do not select “OK”.

When the download ends and “Starting to rewrite” appears,
select “OK”

The software starts rewriting.
Rewrite starts after a while, even if you do not select “OK”. It may take time to start
rewriting.

All keys are disabled during software rewriting. You cannot stop rewriting either.
When the software is rewritten, the FOMA terminal will reload automatically.
After reloading, the message “Software update is complete” is displayed, select “OK”
(not display for the Auto-update). Software update is completed.
