When connecting the FOMA terminal to a PC in
MTP mode, the FOMA terminal is incorrectly
recognized as a camera device
z
Is the Windows Media Player version 9 or under?

Windows Media Player does not support MTP mode
and cannot be recognized as an MTP device.
Upgrade Windows Media Player, and follow the
procedure below to uninstall N-04A that was
recognized as a camera device once:

1. Connect N-04A to a PC via USB Cable
2. Click “

” (Manage) and then
“ デバイスマネージャ ” (Device Manager)
3. Right-click “N-04A” under “ イメージングデバイス ”
(Imaging Device) then click “ 無効 ” (Disable)
4. Right-click “N-04A” under “

”
(Imaging Device) then click “ 削除 ” (Uninstall)
5. Disconnect N-04A from the PC
6. Set MTP mode again and reconnect N-04A to a PC
Overseas Use
“ ” or “Network re-search” does not
disappear from the screen, and international
roaming service cannot be used

Are you out of international roaming service area or is
the reception poor?
z
See the international service guide such as “Mobile
Phone User’s Guide [International Services]” to check if
the area or operator is available.

Turn off the FOMA terminal then turn it back on the first
time you use the service after you move from Japan to
overseas.

Launch “NW search mode” to search for a compatible
operator.

If the used network or operator does not notify the
caller ID, the caller ID does not appear on the FOMA
terminal screen even when the caller ID is notified.
Depending on the used network or operator, the
notified caller ID may be different from the other party’s.

overseas

Contact your docomo Information Center to check to
see your accumulated charge. When you subscribe the
international roaming service (WORLD WING), your
international roaming credit limit is defined. Once your
credit limit is reached, the whole service will be
stopped. When your credit limit is reached, you are
supposed to clear the accumulated charge to have the
service resumed.

Check to see “NW search mode”. If the “NW search
mode” is set to “Auto”, you may not be able to use a
certain network service.Switch the “NW search mode”
to “Manual” and change from your current network to a
network that provides services that are available in the
country or region where you are staying.
