Copying the data on the microSD card
to the FOMA terminal
● Copying the PIM data to the FOMA
terminal
You can copy and add/overwrite the phonebook,
schedule, mail or bookmarks stored on the microSD
card to the FOMA terminal.
z
Note that when you perform “Copy/OW to phone”,
the FOMA terminal data stored before copied are
erased and replaced with the selected microSD
card data
Check if there is an important data before copying
and overwriting the data.
1 File list screen (P.323)

(FUNC)
“Copy/Add to ph.” or “Copy/OW
to phone” Select any item:
• For the learning data, only “Copy/OW to
phone” is available. “Copy this”/“Copy
selected”/“Copy all” cannot be selected.
■ Function menu of the data list screen/data
detail screen

“Copy/Add all to ph” and “Copy/OW all to ph” on the
data list screen (P.323) are the same functions as
“Copy/Add to phone” and “Copy/OW to phone” on
the file list screen.
z
“Copy/Add one to ph” on the data list screen/data
detail screen (P.323) copies and adds the selected
one data.
● Copying the other data to the FOMA
terminal
You can copy the data such as images stored on the
microSD card to the folder of the FOMA terminal.
z
Videos recorded with 1Seg cannot be copied.

• Select a copying method, then select the
destination folder to copy data to another
folder.

<Copy phonebook>
z
You cannot copy the phonebook data when
“Restrict dialing” is set.
z
If Copy & add is selected for the phonebook,
group names on the microSD card differ from the
one of the FOMA terminal, the data is saved to
“No Group” in the phonebook.
<Copy mail>
z
When the Inbox or Outbox is full, performing
“Copy/Add one to ph” on the data list screen/data
detail screen overwrites the oldest unprotected
mail or read mail.
<Copy Schedule>
z
When you copy and overwrite the schedule, the To
Do list data is also copied and overwritten (when
only one of these data is stored, only the stored
data is overwritten).
<Copy bookmark>
z
When you copy and overwrite Bookmark, the Full
Browser bookmarks are also copied and
overwritten (when only either of these is stored,
only the stored data are overwritten).

<Copy image>
z
Following images cannot be copied:
• SWF Flash movie which exceeds 100K bytes
• An image which exceeds 2M bytes
• An image whose width or height exceeds 2,592
dots or total number of dots exceeds 2,592 ×
1,944 dots
• A progressive JPEG/GIF image whose width or
height exceeds 854 dots or total number of dots
exceeds 854 × 480 dots
<Copy movie>
z
The following movies cannot be copied:
• Movies other than MP4
• MP4 movies that cannot be played
• Movies whose file size exceeds 10M bytes
* You may not be able to copy the movie in other
cases depending on the movie.
<PDF date copy>
z
You cannot copy a PDF file whose size is larger
than 2M bytes.

Do not remove the microSD card until the coping
completes. This may cause a malfunction to the
FOMA terminal or microSD card.
