microSD card
N-04A supports commercially available microSD
cards of up to 2G bytes and microSDHC cards of up
to 8G bytes (As of December, 2008)

of the microSD card. Note that the microSD card
which is not listed on the website may not be
operated on the FOMA terminal.
*: To save audio data by SD-Jukebox, use the microSD
card of up to 2G bytes.

Notes on handling
z
Insert or remove the microSD card after turning off
the FOMA terminal.
z
Do not paste a label or sticker on the microSD card.
z
It is your responsibility to keep a separate record of
all data saved on the microSD card. Please be
aware that DOCOMO is not responsible for any
damages the subscriber may incur due to the card
data being deleted, erased, or altered.
Inserting/removing the microSD card
Insert/Remove a microSD card while the power is off
and the battery pack is removed. → P.45
1 Insert the microSD card into the
microSD card slot and push it
until it locks into the place
Insert the microSD card straight and slowly with
the printed side up.
When fully inserted, the card is locked in the
place.
When you turn on the FOMA terminal after
inserting the microSD card, “
” appears.
■ To remove the card
When you push the microSD card in and
release, the card pops up slightly.
* Note that the microSD card may fly out of the slot.
Grip the groove of the microSD card and slowly
pull the card out.
* Make sure to format the microSD card on the
N-04A. You may not be able to use the microSD
card formatted on the other terminal or PC.

Do not insert or remove the microSD card with the
FOMA terminal turned on. Doing so may damage
the microSD card or the data on the card.
z
Note that the microSD card may fly out of the slot
when inserting or removing the microSD card.
z
When you remove the microSD card, make sure
to keep the card in the supplied protective case.
You may not be able to use the microSD card if
the card is kept in different protective case.
z
Make sure to insert or remove the microSD card
straightly in the right direction (inserting the
microSD card at an angle may damage the card).
z
It may take long to read or write data for the first
time after the microSD card is inserted.
