Check SMS

Checking whether SMS (Short Message) is stored

Check SMS whether to be delivered while the terminals were out of service area or the power

was turned off.

•

Under the condition of poor connection, checking SMS may not be available.

Press

SMS is to be received if any message is stored in the SMS Center.

SMS settings

Setting SMS (Short Message)

Sets various requirements for SMS.

SMS (Short Message) Delivery report request

Select whether to request Delivery report when sending SMS.

"ON".

•

Press

"OFF" not to set.

•

SMS stored in the SMS Center is to be deleted after received by FOMA terminal.

•

Short Mail sent from mova i-mode terminal is received as SMS by FOMA terminal.

•

Unable to reply to received SMS or Short Mails sent from mova i-mode terminals with the ID unsent causes

("ID unsent", "Payphone" or "Not supported") on sender fields.

•

If failed to receive SMS, operate Check SMS to receive again.

•

When enough storage space is not available in Inbox, or exceeding the maximum allowable number of mails,

unprotected read mails are to be overwritten beginning with the chronologically oldest mail. Be sure to protect

Received mails to save.

When the storage space is full and unable to be overwritten with unread or protected mails, reception of SMS

is canceled and

is displayed.

When UIM (FOMA card) already stores 20 SMS, SMS may not be received even there is space available in

Inbox. In this case,

UIM (FOMA card).
