Composing and sending Deco-mail
Deco-mail allows you to compose and send more expressive mail messages with variable Font
color/size, Deco-mail picture, and inserted images shot by Camera.
Deco-mail can be composed in two ways: entering characters after specifying decoration, or
setting decoration after entering characters. P233, 236

Under the poor radio wave condition, characters may not be displayed correctly on the other party.
•
Even if i-mode mail has been sent correctly, the error message "Transmission failed" may be displayed under
the condition of poor connection.
•
Except for exchanges between i-mode terminals (including mova), do not use one-byte (Half Mark) Katakana
characters or Pictograms. Message may not be displayed correctly.
•
Depending on the model of i-mode terminal used by the other party, some pictograms may not be displayed
correctly.
•
When transmission fails, an error message is displayed and the i-mode mail is saved in Unsent messages. i-
mode mail can be edited/sent from Unsent messages. P243

When transmission is completed correctly, the i-mode mail is saved in Outbox. When there is not enough
available storage space in Outbox, or exceeds the maximum allowable number of sent SMS, the oldest sent
message is overwritten in chronological order. Note that to protect sent messages to be preserved. P265

Some error messages for address unknown, etc. may not be received when messages are sent to addresses
other than DoCoMo.

When the other party registers the secret code, enter the 4 digits Secret code after entering the phone number
of other party's i-mode terminal.

When the storage space is not enough or exceeding the maximum number for Unsent messages or protected
mails, i-mode mail cannot be composed. Delete unnecessary i-mode mails and/or SMS from Outbox/Unsent
messages box. P266

The E-mail address entered in To and Cc is displayed on the other party. However, To and Cc may not be
displayed depending on terminals, devices, mailing software, etc of the other party.

Signature is added automatically according to registered and set [Signature] at Mail setting.
