Using Hands free compatible devices

You can make operations such as dialing/receiving of voice-calls with Hands free devices, by

connecting FOMA terminal to Hands free devices such as In-car hands free kit 01 (optional)

or car navigation system etc.

•

Refer to the operation manuals for operations of the hands free compatible devices. When you use In-
car hands free kit 01 (optional), FOMA In-car hands free connection cable 01 (optional) is required.

Receiving calls

The common procedure to make voice-calls/video-phone calls is described below.

When you operate FOMA terminal through Hands free compatible devices, execute the operation with FOMA

terminal in Stand-by display.

•

Set USB mode to "Communication mode" when operating from the hands free compatible devices. P446

•

Arrival act in receiving calls, such as display or Ring tone etc., follows the setting of FOMA terminals.

•

Hands free compatible devices sound the Ring tone as preset to ring, even if Manner mode is set or Ring

volume is set to "OFF".

•

Arrival act under Driving mode follows the setting of Driving mode.

•

Arrival act of Record message follows the setting of Record message.

•

Folding FOMA terminals under Closing action setting ends a call, if FOMA terminal is set to sound Ring tone.

If a hands free compatible device is set to sound a Ring tone, the call continues even with the FOMA terminal

folded, regardless of Closing action.

Ring tone sounds and Incoming call lamp is blinked.

•

A call can be received by pressing any other keys when Any key
answer setting is "ON". P61
