Register to phonebook
Registering entries in FOMA terminal phonebook
Can register the basic information, such as phone number and mail address etc., and the
information, such as address and birthday etc. Also can specify the individual Ring tone and
message. Operations to specify the basic information, Ring tone, and other information are
described as follows.

Up to 500 can be registered. Up to 3 phone numbers and 3 E-mail addresses can be registered for each entry.

Up to 10 two-byte (Full Mark) or 20 one-
byte (Half Mark) characters can be entered.
Cannot be set.
Name/Phone number/Image registered in Phonebook are
displayed in receiving voice-calls/video-phone calls. Also displayed
in Redials or Received calls etc.

Registered information cannot be displayed when receiving calls
without CallerID.

Names etc., registered in UIM (FOMA card) phonebook, may not be
able to be displayed during reading UIM (FOMA card) or right after the
power is turned on.

In case E-mail address or phone number is registered in Phonebook, a name is displayed on received/sent
address history in sending/receiving i-mode mail or SMS.
