Making full use of other data
Making full use of folders and data
Folder can be added to Folder list screen in My picture, i-motion, or Melody and can be
secured. Program such as i-motion or melody etc. in Data box can be played in row.
Creating/Editing/Deleting folders
Create a folder on Folder list screen of My picture/i-motion/melody.
•
Up to 10 folders can be added to each My picture/i-motion/Melody folder.
•
Preinstalled folders by default cannot be edited/deleted.
Creating folders

Press p [Function] on Folder list screen

Select "Create folder" and
press C .

Enter a folder name and press C .
Up to 8 two-byte (Full Mark) or 16 one-byte (Half Mark) characters can be entered.
Changing created folder name.

Select created folder and press p [Function]

"Edit folder name" and press C .

Enter a new folder name and press C .
Deleting folders

Select a folder and press p [Function]

Select "Delete folder" and press

•
Sending/Receiving data may be lost when the battery of FOMA terminal is not left or dead. Confirm enough
battery is left in FOMA terminal. Also check the PC power, too. To use Desktop holder is recommended.
•
Do not unplug FOMA USB connection cable (optional) or remove miniSD memory card when transferring data
from PC to FOMA terminal.
•
Check if FOMA terminal and PC are correctly connected before data transfer.
•
Only data in miniSD memory card can be operated from PC, when using as reader or writer. Folders in FOMA
terminal cannot be accessed.
•
Dialing/Receiving of voice-call/video-phone and sending/receiving i-mode mail/SMS/MessageR/F can be
operated during data transferring.
•
Removing FOMA USB connection cable (optional) from PC (in Windows XP)

Doubleclick the icon "Removal of hardware safely" on the task bar of Windows XP and "USB" (USB large
memory device).

Click "Stop" and then click "OK".

Remove FOMA USB connection cable (optional).
