INFORMATION
Operations during receiving calls
Following operations are available by pressing
p
[Function] during receiving a call.
When you hear signal tone (Call waiting ring tone) while talking
With the subscription of following services, the signal tone is heard when another call is received during a
call and then the call is forwarded or responded automatically.
•
Call waiting ring tone is not heard unless Set arrival act is set to "Activate service" and Arrival act is set
to "Answer".

When FOMA terminal is folded
Displays "Receiving" on Backside-display with Ring tone sounding and with Incoming-call lamp blinking in
receiving calls.
•
The phone number and the registered name in Phonebook etc. are displayed. (when Backside notice
set to "ON")
•
The reason for hiding CallerID is displayed when the phone number is not notified.
INFORMATION
•
A call can be switched to hands free call by holding down
n
for over a second during the call.
•
A call can also be disconnected by folding FOMA terminal. Set Closing action setting "Hold" not to disconnect
the call by folding FOMA terminal. P61
•
Following information is displayed on the screen depending on the conditions of the other party and the setting
of FOMA terminal.
- The other party's phone number is displayed if the number is not registered in Phonebook.
- The other party's phone number, name, and still image/movie image (if registered in phonebook) are
displayed if the data is registered in Phonebook.
- The reason for hiding CallerID is displayed when the other party's phone number is not notified. P141
- A name is not displayed under Secret mode "ON", even if the data is registered in Phonebook. P138

Arrival acts are not operated under Driving mode. (Registered as Received calls.)
Call rejection
: Disconnects calls.
Call forwarding
: Forwards incoming calls to registered forwarding destination. P436
Voice mail
: Forwards incoming calls to the Voice mail service center. P433
Record message
: Records the message of the incoming call in FOMA terminal.
Voice mail service
* : Forwards calls to Voice mail service center. P433
Call waiting service
: Holds the current call and answer a new incoming call. P435
Call forwarding service
* : Forwards calls to the registered forwarding destination. P436

Calls from the party not registered in Phonebook can be rejected. Also can set to mute Ring tone for the preset
duration until starting to ring. P141, 142
•
By setting Call rejection for some parties registered in Phonebook, calls from such parties can be rejected.
