Multiaccess

Multiaccess

Multiaccess is the function that 3 functions of Voice-call/Packet communication/SMS can be

used at the same time. You can receive E-mails during Voice-call or you can make Voice-call

during i-mode.

•

The icon of currently activated function is displayed on Task bar.

•

Multiaccess allows following 3 network transmissions to be operated simultaneously.

<ex> Answering a voice-call during an i-mode/packet communication.

Enable to answer a voice-call even during i-mode connection without network transmission terminated.
Same operation can be made in packet transmission connected to PC.

During video-phone calls, only SMS can be received simultaneously. Receiving mails are notified with icon.

Video-phone should be ended to browse SMS.

Charged separately for each communication when using the Multiaccess function.

Possible combinations of functions to use: P517

•

In case Receive preference is set to "Prefer user operation", Ring tone
is not sounded, and the icon blinks and is displayed, when i-mode mail
is received during voice-call.

•

During 64K data transmission, an incoming call can be received after disconnecting 64K data transmission with

subscription of Call waiting service. SMS can also be received. In this case, Ring tone is not heard and the icon

notifies.

•

During 64K data transmission, SMS can also be sent.
