The port and
terminal baud rates
are not compatible.
Shutoff and turn on terminal.

port baud rate (autobaud).
Terminal transmit and receive
speeds must be the same.
The terminal flow
control is disabled.
Reset the terminals flow
control.
The port type is set
to the printer.
Set port to term.
There is faulty
wiring between the
terminal and the
DECserver 90L.
While watching the activity
LED on the DECserver 90L,
the LED should blink when
characters are typed at
the terminal. If not, check
that the activity LED blinks
when characters are typed on
terminals connected to other
ports. If the activity LED
blinks the wiring between the
terminal and the DECserver
90L or the terminal is faulty.
You cannot connect
to the service
The service is not
available.
Check for service availability.
The LAT is not
installed on the host
system.
Verify that the LAT Version
5.0 or higher is running on the
host system.
It is a Network
Problem.
Check the network LED, it
should be on. If not, check
the network connection.
If the LED is on, you can
check network connectivity by
running MOP loopback or a
MOP console carrier session.
