RESET OF THE INSTRUMENT

In case of blocked functionalities of the instrument, a hardware reset can be performed
through the button placed inside the battery compartment.
Proceed as follows:
1.

Remove the protective rubber shell, if any.

Untighten the 4 screws fixing the battery compartment cover on the back of the instru-

ment.

Press (e.g. using a small screwdriver) the reset button on top left of the battery.

Close the battery compartment with the 4 screws.

After reset, the instrument enters a waiting state for a new firmware for two minutes: press

ESC

to immediately exit the wait state and enter the normal measurement mode. If you ex-

ceed the two-minute time limit, the instrument switches off; in this case, press

ON/OFF

switch it on again: the instrument restarts in normal measuring mode.

The reset sets back instrument parameters to factory defaults.

After a reset operation,

check configuration and, if necessary, reset operating parameters to the desired values.
