4.2 SA Indoor Unit - FCQG, FFQ, FHQ, FDBQ, FBQ Series
4.2.1 Check points
To carry out test operation, check the followings:
Check that the temperature setting of the remote controller is at the lowest level in cooling
mode.
Go through the following checklist:

Are all units securely installed? Dangerous for turning over during storm
Possible damage to pipe connections
Is the earth wire installed according to the applicable
local standard? Dangerous if electric leakage occurs.
Are all air inlets and outlets of the indoor and outdoor
units unobstructed? Poor cooling
Poor heating
Does the drain flow out smoothly? Water leakage
Is piping adequately heat-insulated? Water leakage
Have the connections been checked for refrigerant
leakage? Poor cooling
Poor heating
Stop
Is the supply voltage conform to the specifications on the
name plate? Incorrect operation
Are the cable sizes as specified and according to local
regulations? Damage of cables
Are the remote controller signals received by the unit? No operation
Step Action
1 Turn on the power supply more than 6 hours before test operation.
2 Open the gas stop valve.
3 Open the liquid stop valve.
4 Set to cooling operation with the remote controller and start operation by pressing
[ON/OFF] button (
).
5 Press the [INSPECTION/TEST OPERATION] button ( ) 4 times (2 times for
wireless remote controller) and operate at test operation mode for 3 minutes.
6 Press the [AIRFLOW DIRECTION ADJUST] button ( ) to make sure the unit is
in operation.
7 Press the [INSPECTION/TEST OPERATION] button ( ) and operate normally.
8 Confirm all the function of unit according to the operation manual.
9 If the decoration panel has not been installed, turn off the power after the test
operation.
