6.1 OVERVIEW
The self-diagnosis function checks the signals from the grain sensor, electronic pick up, vehicle speed sensor, No. 2 rota-
tion sensor, shift lever switch, vehicle speed upper limit switch, and engine stop motor to the MICOM unit. If there is mal-
function, the check lamp on the instrument panel blinks. Also, the LED on the center of the MICOM unit displays symbols
corresponding to the error type.
6.2 CONTROL
A. IN NORMAL CONDITION
If there is no malfunction in the grain sensor, electronic pick up, vehicle speed sensor, No. 2 rotation sensor, neutral switch,
reverse switch, vehicle speed upper limit switch and engine stop motor, the LED on the MICOM unit displays "P" and
fl ashes for a period.
B. IN ABNORMAL CONDITION
If there is malfunction in the sensors or switches, the check lamp blinks and the LED on the MICOM unit displays "E" and
a number between 1 and 9 or "A". The automatic feeding depth control lamp may go off or blink depending on the malfunc-
tion type. The description and output for each error are shown in the below table. If more than one error is generated, the
LED displays symbols sequentially (ex: E

6. SELF-DIAGNOSIS

Error 1 Defective grain sensor signal - The grain sensor S1 (straw side)
is OFF and the S2 (grain side) is ON during the automatic depth

Error 2 Defective grain sensor signal - The grain sensors S1 (straw
side) and S2 (grain side) are ON during the automatic depth
control (at start of reaping: over 10 seconds, during work: over 4
seconds). • LED display: E and 2
• Automatic feeding depth control

• Front buzzer (5 sec.)
Error 3 Defective electronic pick up signal - It does not detect the
engine rpm during driving. • LED display: E and 3
Error 4 Defective electronic pick up signal - It does not detect the
engine rpm during threshing. • LED display: E and 4
Error 5 Defective vehicle speed sensor signal - It detects vehicle speed
during threshing with the combine harvester stopped.
