C. ADJUSTMENT OF CLEARANCE BETWEEN

CUTTING BLADE AND BASE BLADE

1. Remove the blade clip from the base blade plate.

2. Remove any foreign materials.

3. Adjust the clearance between the cutting blade and the

base blade to be 0 ~ 0.5 mm by adding or removing the
shim 2. Make sure that the cutting blade is movable by
a hand.

D. ADJUSTMENT OF CUTTING BLADE CRANK

ROD

1. Set the cutting blade to overlap with the bade blade.

2. Loosen two mounting nuts (LH/RH) on the crank rod.

3. Rotate the crank rod and adjust the distance between

the two crank rod mounting nuts to be within the speci-

ed value, while the cutting blade and base blade miss

each other within 1.5 mm.

4. Apply LOCTITE and tighten the mounting nuts.

• If the blades become dull, crops will be unevenly

harvested and conveyed. These may result in decrease
in power efficiency. Therefore, the whole blade unit
should be replaced if this happens.
