2. Adjust the gap by pushing (turning) the 38T gear to-

ward the shaft.

• Right turn (gap shortens)

• Left turn (gap widens)

• Unscrew the bolt with a spanner from the cutter shaft

side.

CAUTION

D. CUTTER DISC

1. Adjust the gap between the base disc and cutting

disc as follows. The interval between the 1st and 16th
base discs and cutting discs seen from the drive pulley
should be 4.5 ~ 7.0 mm.

<Adjustment>

• Remove the cutter drive belt and unscrew three mount-

ing bolts of the 38T gear on the base shaft.
