2.2.4 CHARGE RELIEF VALVE
The oil drawn from the charge pump is fi ltered by the oil
fi lter cartridge, passes through the check valve shaft of the
check & high pressure relief valve in the low pressure sec-
tion, and, then,
fl ows into the HST's closed circuit.
If the oil in the closed circuit is suf fi cient, the charge relief
valve opens and the oil is sent to the case.
The charge relief valve is to ensure that the low pressure
section's circuit pressure becomes the same as the set
pressure as soon as possible.
• Set pressure (input: 2300 rpm, Oil temperature: 44.8 ±
3.0°C): 5 ~ 6 kgf/cm

A. CHECK & HIGH PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
There is only one type of check & high pressure relief
valve. It can be used both for forward and reverse driving.
When driving forward, the check & high pressure relief
valve for forward driving operates, while that of reverse
driving operates by the oil from the charge pump to send
the oil to the lower pressure circuit.
When driving reverse, the opposite operations occur.
The check & high pressure relief valve operates to protect
the unit by limiting the high pressure circuit’s maximum
pressure.
• Set pressure (input: 2300 rpm, Oil temperature: 44.8 ±
3.0°C): 310 ~ 320 kgf/cm
