2.4 CHECKING NORMAL OPERATION
A. STRAW DISCHARGE ALARM (ALARM
BUZZER, INSTRUMENT PANEL AND AES)
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
2. Engage the threshing clutch (threshing unit switch:
ON).
3. If any straw discharging sensor is ON for over 1.5
seconds, the automatic engine stop function operates
and power is supplied to the engine stop motor. And
the front buzzer sounds continuously and the straw
discharge alarm lamp on the instrument panel blinks.
When the threshing clutch is disengaged (threshing unit
switch: OFF), the buzzer stops and the straw discharge
alarm lamp goes out.
The output does not stop with the sensor OFF if the
threshing clutch is still engaged.
B. NO. 1 AND NO. 2 ALARM (ALARM BUZZER
AND INSTRUMENT PANEL)
1. Start the engine and set the engine speed to 2,000
rpm. Then, engage the threshing clutch (threshing
unit switch: ON).
2. Lower the engine speed slowly. When the engine
speed decreases to 200 ~ 300 rpm, the No. 1 lamp
starts to blink. When the engine speed decreases to
300 ~ 400 rpm, the No. 1 lamp starts to blink and the
front buzzer sounds continuously.
3. Reversely, the No. 1 and No. 2 lamps go out in order
and the front buzzer stops when increasing the engine
speed.
C. GRAIN ALARM (ALARM BUZZER AND IN-
STRUMENT PANEL)
1. Start the engine and engage the threshing clutch
(threshing unit switch: ON).
2. When the grain sensor in the hopper is ON, the front
buzzer sounds at short intervals and the grain lamp
blinks.
When the grain sensor is OFF, the front buzzer and
the grain lamp output stop.
3. When the grain alarm is activated with the grain sen-
sor ON, the front buzzer can be stopped by pressing
the horn switch. The grain lamp stays blinking.
D. REVERSE DRIVING ALARM
(ALARM BUZZER)
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
2. The reverse driving alarm (alarm buzzer) operates at
short interval when moving the shift lever to the "Re-
verse" position.
E. LOAD ALARM (ALARM BUZZER)
2. Keep depressing the pedal to its end position.
2. Set the straw sensor ON temporarily.
3. Start the engine and set its speed to 2,000 rpm or
higher. Put the range shift lever to any position other
than the "Neutral" position.
4. Engage the threshing clutch (threshing unit switch:
ON). Push the shift lever half way to the end of the
"Forward" position.
5. When gradually decreasing the engine speed, the No.
2, No. 3 and caution lamps come on in order. The No.
1 load lamp is always on. In the last phase, the front
buzzer sounds at short intervals and all lamps blink.
6. When increasing the engine speed gradually, the front
buzzer stops and all lamps stop blinking. Then, the
caution, No 3 and No. 2 lamps go out in order.
F. CHARGE LAMP AND OIL LAMP (INSTRU-
MENT PANEL)
1. The charge lamp and oil lamp come on when turning
the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
2. After the engine is started, these two lamps go out.
G. IGNITION SWITCH
Power is supplied to the engine stop motor when the fol-
lowing operations occur.
1. Turning the ignition switch from the "OFF" to "ON" po-
sition
2. Turning the ignition switch to the "START" position
while the straw discharge alarm is activated
