Captive Portal Local User Commands

Use these commands to view and configure captive portal users in the local database.
user (Captive Portal Config Mode)
This command is used to create a local user. The
<user-id>
variable is the user ID, which can be a number between 1
and 128. The password is 8-64 characters. You can modify the password after you create the user by using this command
with the user ID and a new password.
There are two ways to create the user: using
name
and using
password
. If the user is created using
name
, the password
needs to be assigned with the user password command. Or, if the user is created using password, the name can be assigned
later:

no user
This command deletes a user from the local user database. If the user has an existing session, it is disconnected.

user name
This command assigns a name to the User ID. This name is used at the client station for authentication. The
<user-id>
variable is the local user ID created with the
user
command and can be from 1 to 128 characters. The
<username>
variable
is the name of the user and can have up to 32 alphanumeric characters.
