Property
Value
Source
All analogue variables in the controller, which can be used as a source. The name of the
source value is also used to name the output value.
Convert
A switch that activates the linear transfer between the source and output.
Limits
Displays a specific conversion, and clicking on the 3 dots displays a pop-up window where
you can define a linear conversion. We define the lower and upper limits of the conversion.
Units are automatically loaded from other configured items (source and output type/ECU
value). See Table Output conversion limits bellow.
Output
type
Select the hardware output type. Usually this is a choice between voltage (0-10,00V) or
current (0-20,0mA) output, for some products you can also select PWM output (0-100,00%).
ECU
value*
The transmitted value available for the configured Engine Specific File (range, resolution, and
dimension is defined in the file).
Normalize
A switch that activates the ability to adjust the output value from the decimal point of view.
Resolution
If the output value normalization is active, the item indicates the expected number of decimal
places in the target value. Use primarily for electronically communicated output (ECU).
PWM
Frequency
If the PWM output type is set, the signal carrier frequency value in the range 200-2400Hz can
be additionally selected.
Note: ECU value
is available only for ECU modules and replaces a property Output type.

Table 4.1 Output conversion limits
By not using the Convert option, we pass the source quantity directly to the output. We also have to think that
the transfer of the entry number takes place in raw form (i.e. without decimals). In this case, we need to look at
the values in the range of 0-10000, both on input and output. Without conversion, the physical output value is
used as in the Output conversion limits table.
Image 4.6 Analog output limits calculator
For physical outputs, the calculator provides help in the form of automatic recalculation to the resultant
voltage/current/percentage.
