Common Hardware Features
Power Supply
The T1000 ships with a dual power supply, configured for either AC or DC power. The AC
configuration includes two standard power cords that each have a NEMA 5-15 plug for
connecting to the power outlet on the rack or in the wall.
For power-supply specifications, see “T1000 Hardware Specifications and Options” on
page 1-6, which describes the various platforms and includes a table summarizing the
hardware specifications.
Note: If you suspect that a power-supply fan is not working, please see the description
of your platform. On some platforms, what appears to be the fan does not turn,
and the actual fan turns only when necessary.
For each power supply, a bi-color LED indicator shows the condition of the power supply.
