Appendix B Replacement Parts

Replacing an AC Power Supply

Use the following procedure to replace a failed AC power supply in the T1000.

Step 1

Read the safety information in the “Safety Information” section on page iii.

Step 2

Locate a replacement AC power supply and remove from the packaging. Place the power 
supply within reach during this replacement procedure. Retain the packaging materials for 
storage/return of the failed unit.

Caution

Ensure you have the correct power supply type. You cannot combine power 
supplies of different types/wattages in the same unit.

Caution

Statement 8:
Never remove the cover on a power supply or any part that has the 
following label attached.

Hazardous voltage, current, and energy levels are present inside any 
component that has this label attached. There are no serviceable parts 
inside these components. If you suspect a problem with one of these parts, 
contact a service technician.

Caution:

Statement 5:
The power control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do 
not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have 
more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure 
that all power cords are disconnected from the power source.
