IP Dual Port PBXgateway and Remote System Administrator’s Guide

6. When asked to enter the destination filename, type the name of the file, leaving off the

“.mab” extension.

7. Press Enter to begin the transfer.

8. The time taken for an in-band transfer will vary depending on network activity. A

prompt “Copy Succeeded” will be presented when the transfer is complete.

9. Once completed, the image file is ready for upgrade. See the

File Upgrade

section for

details.

File Upgrade

This process requires the system to be rebooted and will cause active phones to be out of
service for a few minutes.

Path:

Utilities->Upgrade->Image File

2. Select the image file (the file you uploaded) and press Enter.

3. The image file is verified and if it fails an error prompt will be displayed on screen,

similar to the one shown below. If this occurs, please re-start the Upgrade Process.

4. If file verification succeeds, you are asked to confirm that you want to change the

image file to the file you have uploaded. Type “[Y]es” to continue.

5. A warning screen appears, as shown below. Type “[Y]es” to continue the upgrade

process. This will use the selected image file and reboot the system.
