Note: To be able to use Cisco TMS on a Web Site, it must be accessible by its own IP Address on
port 80. Some functionality requires Cisco TMS to be reachable by hostname therefore the web site is
also accessible by a fully qualified hostname.
By default Cisco TMS installs itself by creating a virtual directory in the Default Web Site.
Select the Web Site to install to from the drop-down menu and click Next.

3. You are prompted to select which server to install on.

Install Database on this machine… (instance name) – Select this option to install the database
on a SQL Server on the local server. If the installer finds an existing installation, the name of the
instance is displayed. At the bottom of the screen enter the SQL login and password If no local
installation is found, MS SQL Server 2008 Express 32 bit is installed.
Select a database server from … - To install on an existing remote SQL server, select the
server from the drop-down list of existing SQL servers.
Enter the IP or DNS Address of the Server… - Use this option to install the Cisco TMS
database on an existing remote SQL Server if the server is not listed in the drop-down list. Use
