Objectives
This guide documents the hardware features of the next-generation Cisco Content Delivery Engines
(CDEs), which include CDE205, CDE220, CDE250, CDE280, CDE285, CDE420, CDE460, and
CDE475 these platforms are used in Internet Streamer and TV applications. It describes the physical and
performance characteristics of each CDE, explains how to install a CDE, and provides troubleshooting
information. This guide does not describe system messages that you may receive and provides only
initial configuration procedures. For more information, see the
“Related Documentation” section on
